Hand in Hand Global Leaders’ Internship Fall Programme now open

Every year, Hand in Hand offers a four-week Global Leaders Internship Programme focused on well-defined projects and deliverables. We welcome master and PhD students from universities worldwide to apply to the programme. We are especially glad to host graduate students in the fields of Development Economics, Sustainable Development, Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Business.

Hand in Hand will provide room and board during the intern’s stay in Tamil Nadu, India, as well as local transportation. Hand in Hand cannot bear the cost of international airfare.

A full application, including a résumé/CV, a cover letter stating your motivation, and two letters of recommendation should be sent to internship@hihseed.org.

Hand in Hand has had interns from the Stanford Business School, California, the Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden, the Tata School of Development Studies, etc. These students have worked on various projects related to e.g. microfinance, micro-insurance, medium-sized enterprise development, and impact assessments.

Volunteers

Hand in Hand welcomes volunteers with a wide range of competencies. We especially encourage volunteers who either have a well-defined, concrete project, or who have practical professional experience, such as teachers, nurses, and trainers. Please note that we are unable to remunerate volunteers; everything must be at the volunteer’s own expense.
