www.handinhandinternational.org.uk (the “Site”) is a web site operated by Hand in Hand International. We are registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales under charity number 1113868 and have our offices at 10 Hill Street, London, W1J 5NQ.
Your access to the Site is subject to the following terms and conditions and all laws applicable by association. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before you start to use the Site. Should you access and browse the Site then you will have accepted, without exception or qualification, the following terms and conditions despite any other agreements you may have with Hand in Hand International. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access the Site through your internet connection are aware of these terms and conditions and that they comply with them.
Accessing the Site
Hand in Hand International maintains the Site for your information and communication. You must not distribute, modify, transmit, reuse or post content of the Site for public or commercial purposes without the prior written permission of Hand in Hand International.
Linking To and From the Site
Hand in Hand International has not fully reviewed all of the web sites linked to the Site and is not responsible for the content of any off-site pages or any other web sites linked to the Site. Your linking to any other off-sites pages or other web sites is at your own risk.
Hand in Hand International neither warrants nor represents that your use of materials displayed on the Site will not infringe rights of third parties not owned by or affiliated with Hand in Hand International. You may link to the Site’s home page, provided that you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it but you must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists. You must not establish a link from any web site that is not owned by you. The Site must not be framed on any other web site, nor may you create a link to any part of the Site other than the home page. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice. The web site from which you are linking must comply in all respects with Hand in Hand International’s General Privacy Policy.
Hand in Hand International’s Liability
Your use of and browsing in the Site are at your own risk. Neither Hand in Hand International nor any other party involved in creating, producing or delivering the Site is liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or punitive damages arising out of any user’s access to or use of the Site, inability to use the Site or use of any of the content on the Site or web sites linked to it, including without limitation, any liability for: loss of income or revenue; loss of business; loss of profits or contracts; loss of anticipated savings; loss of data; loss of goodwill; wasted management or office time; loss or damage caused to computer equipment or other property; and for any other loss or damage of any kind, however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.
Without limiting the foregoing, and to the extent permitted by law, everything on the Site is provided to you “as is” without warranty, condition or other similar term of any kind, either expressed or implied by statute, common law or the law of equity, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. This does not affect our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, nor our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter.
Uploading Material to the Site
Any communication or material you transmit to the Site by electronic mail or otherwise, including any data, questions, comments, suggestions, or the like is, and will be treated as, non-confidential and non-proprietary. Anything you transmit or post may be used by Hand in Hand International or its affiliates for any purpose, including, but not limited to, reproduction, disclosure, transmission, publication, broadcast and posting. Furthermore Hand in Hand International is free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in any communication you send to the Site for any purpose whatsoever including, but not limited to, developing, manufacturing and marketing products using such information.
Use of the Site
You must use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Site:
(a) in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation;
(b) in any other way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;
(c) for the purpose of harming or attempting to harm minors in any way;
(d) to send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with Hand in Hand International’s content standards as set out below;
(e) to transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam); or
(f) to knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware, including but not limited to, denial-of-service attack.
By breaching this provision, you may be committing a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. Hand in Hand International will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use the Site will cease immediately.
Site Content and Content Standards
Hand in Hand International uses reasonable efforts to include accurate and up to date information in the Site however it is under no obligation to update such information and none of the content posted on the Site is intended to amount to advice on which reliance should be placed. Hand in Hand International makes no warranties or representations as to accuracy of such information and assumes no liability for any errors or omissions in the content of the Site or arising from any reliance placed on such content by any visitor to the Site, or by anyone who may be informed of its contents.
You must comply with the spirit of the following contents standards, as well as the letter. These contents standards apply to each part of any material you contribute to the Site as well as the whole. Such contributions must:

(b) be genuinely held (where they state opinions);
(c) comply with applicable law in the UK and in any country from which they are posted;
(d) not contain any material which is defamatory of any person;

(j) not be likely to deceive any person;
(k) not be made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence;
(l) not promote any illegal activity;
(m) not threaten, abuse or invade another´s privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety;
(n) not be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person;
(o) not be used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person;
(p) not give the impression that they emanate from Hand in Hand International, if this is not the case; and
(q) not advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as, for example, copyright infringement or computer misuse.
Intellectual Property
You should assume that everything you see or read on the Site is copyrighted unless otherwise noted and may not be used except as provided in these terms and conditions or in the text on the Site without the written permission of Hand in Hand International.
The trademarks, logos, services marks and all other intellectual property (collectively the “Intellectual Property”) displayed on the Site, are the registered and unregistered Intellectual Property of Hand in Hand International and others. All rights associated with the Intellectual Property are reserved. Nothing contained on the Site should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel or otherwise, any licence or right to use any of the Intellectual Property displayed on the Site without the written permission of Hand in Hand International or such third party that may own the Intellectual Property displayed on the Site. Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of material and as the owners of the Intellectual Property on the Site must always be acknowledged.
Your misuse of the Intellectual Property displayed on the Site, or any other content on the Site, except as provided in these terms and conditions, is strictly prohibited. You are also advised that Hand in Hand International will enforce its rights in the Intellectual Property to the fullest extent of the law, including the seeking of criminal prosecution.

Hand in Hand International may at any time revise these terms and conditions by updating this posting. You are bound by any such revisions and should therefore periodically visit this page to review the then current terms and conditions to which you are bound. Some of the provisions contained in these terms and conditions may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on the Site. Hand in Hand International reserve the right to withdraw or amend the services and information provided on the Site without notice, and will not be liable if, for any reason, the Site is unavailable at any time or for any period.
Jurisdiction and Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales and the English courts will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to the Site. In the event of a breach of these terms and conditions, Hand in Hand International may take such action as it reasonably deems appropriate, including, but not limited to: (a) immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use the Site; (b) immediate, temporary or permanent removal of any content uploaded by you to the Site; (c) issue of a warning to you; (d) legal proceedings against you, in your country of residence or any other relevant country, for breach of these terms and conditions and for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach; (e) further legal action against you; and (f) disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary.
